_Do not remember if we commented on deliveries of Oscars in the past, but it may have a first time. I do not pretend to make a series of posts as well as Chico did Fireman (in fact, highly recommended reading). How do I find a drunk bias point, I decided to post my preferences in some categories, such as how to step up the crowd for them.
Supporting Actress
Viola Davis (Doubt) should win, because their presence is bright, the best performance of a film that has Mery Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Not hardly.I would not be upset, however, if you won Marisa Tomei (The Wrestler) Taraji P. orHenson (the best thing about The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).
Supporting Actor
Heath Ledger is bearded, and the Academy have gone crazy once. Not only because he died, but because it has an exquisite performance, to the best movie of the Batman franchise. Penalty for Philip Seymour Hoffman and Josh Brolin, excellent in Doubt and Milk respectively.
Documentary
The category in which I am completely depleted, because I did not see any competitor. I'm rooting for Herzog, still without having seen his Encounters at the End of the World.
Foreign Film
Another category that escapes me completely this year. Cheer on the walls of the school curriculum by director Laurent Cantet. I hope the movie does not disappoint me later.
Director of photography
If you do not win Tom Stern for Changeling I'm not going to take more seriously this award. Okay, not very serious about it, but the phrase fan should have some impact, however small.
Best Actor
Mickey Rourke for The Wrestler. Although Sean Penn to be very good, no how to get the award for Rourke. It would be a crime. If you win the Brad Pitt is a real farce.
Best Actress
If your hubby does not deserve hits, the wife has every right to go out with the statuette. Angelina Jolie shines in Changeling. Meryl Streep, despite being a constant in awards, to win justicça too. Anything else is nonsense.
Best Director
Gus Van Sant for Milk. There is to be different from that, unless the voters are ET.
Best Picture
Milk. I do not understand the charges that the film is impersonal. It has a lot of Gus Van Sant there. Among his more narrative, second only to boys. The first half of Milk is a masterpiece, full of visual findings, as the image reflected in the whistle of a murdered gay. In the second half, the film is more sedate, and loses it.Paradoxically, there appears one of the most interesting characters, the district supervisor played by Josh Brolin.
I have great information and Stats about The Oscars in a pdf and I want to make a cool graphs about it but I have to convert pdf to excel first in order to do so.

Life in pills, full of small abstractions that make me believe in the real existence of God. My loose Catholicism sometimes leads me to hear my own heart for a long time, but I insist on trying to put a straight path. I kind of go hard with him.So I keep passing sleepless nights in front of the TV remote control or massacring in front of glasses whose content disappears in front of a kick of speed Nelinho. Or something like that.
Yesterday I drank wine with my friend and Andrezão linguinha with a bar of Brasilia. We did not have much time. I had to sleep early to wake up this morning and back to Sao Paulo. But this was a profitable time of the wine bottle. The Andrezão forces me to remember several scenes and parts of my books (he knows all) and I find myself almost knocked out when he speaks of the character escrotidão Caio (from "Mother did not return the Supermarket"). I say that laughing is he still continued in most scrotum.
He almost vomits and the curse of Caius so strongly that I almost suspect that the character exists. Then he weaves the praises of Cardan (the "Bagana in the Rain") and I feel a little lighter by the consideration of my alter ego. In the end I'm not as miserable as well. And the conversation goes by poems, plays and lyrics. It's almost an x-ray of my literary work. I even like to believe that one has in spite of my detractors insist otherwise. I arrive in Sao Paulo, tired and give a look at the blogs of friends. I see the great revolt that led to the deportation of the cool guys Curve Theatre. The guys were there to present a play in London at the invitation of a festival there and were turned away.
What to talk about this shit as well as demonstrate our solidarity? We are about the same shit, right? I always thought England despite a bag of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. Simply because in spite of these two bands can not stand British rock. It may seem simplistic (and is) my reasoning, but you can not swallow a country that is still ruled by a monarchy. Mike I like my character in the play "Ecstasy" by Mike Leigh. The character is Irish and does not support England and makes this clear at all times. And talks with pride that he is grinding of the "Republic of Ireland." I was thinking about the boys being driven out of the curve was there when the play yesterday and spoke the text.
I spoke with even more property. People always ask me if I want to live in another country and I always say that I'm shit for it. I like to stay here in Brazil. I like it here. I really like it. Of course I want to know other places, the will to live six months in a small town in France or other chaotic six months in Mexico City. In these two places would write two books. In France, a book of poetry and in Mexico a very nasty romancezinho pulp. But if all else fails, while the rest of my life in Brazil, a good, with some escaped to Buenos Aires to drink wine and eat barbecue.
But even that I can do here, right? So, good, London has never interested me and after this episode depressing what happened to the boys of the Curve, is a city that does not interest me at all. If I ever have to go to work and let me in English, I make a point of wasting my Portuguese narrow and they will have to understand me, because they do not intend to make the slightest effort to be understood. I wonder if that's not why I've never done any effort to learn English a language that seems so easy. I think I understand what you need to know what the American rockers are singing and it's okay. The rest is my country, my language, as I said Caetano. And since I'm not fond of Camões, Fernando Pessoa then living and Reinaldo Moraes. These two know how to play with this great language and offers many possibilities. Paul of Tharsis, is that you're right. Language wild, right? After France, I searched three times, but eventually let me in and among us, with my front was standard they kicked me out of there, dammit.
I'm tired as hell, but tomorrow morning I have to go to London. I have an interview on TV Crowned at eleven in the morning. Then I'll go pro Sebo Caprice launching my book of poems and Midnight show of our band is "Bag of Mice" (mill miss playing with the guys). Will have time for a beer with friends in London? London I said, okay? It's the Little London, but is much more civilized.
